About Us

UA Future US is the registered version of UA Future, a charity registered in Poland and Ukraine focused on the delivery of humanitarian aid to front line locations.

Piotr Kazuwara, a Polish journalist, has worked in Ukraine since 2016, reporting for a variety of news outlets on conditions both in the East, as well as in Russian-occupied Donetsk and Luhansk. Following the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February of 2022, Piotr largely set aside his journalistic endeavors, and redirected his focus to evacuating civilians from the front line. After UA Future was established in May of 2022, he expanded the scope of the charity to include the delivery of humanitarian aid directly to the front line, partnering with many aid organizations (such as Samaritan’s Purse) to alleviate the suffering of those unable to evacuate.

Jeff Hoffman, an American, met Piotr in October of 2022, joining him on a supply mission to Kramatorsk and Kostyantinivka in Donetsk Oblast. After nearly 10 days together in the cab of a vehicle driving all the way across Ukraine and back, a friendship and trust was born: on his return to the United States later that month, Jeff moved to establish UA Future-US, as a registered 501(c)(3) charity in the United States.

Most importantly – UA Future and UA Future US serve as the “face” of Poland and America to those at the front line – and our greatest return on investment is the goodwill we are able to generate just by showing up at the front line with our respective flags.
